Looking for Dallas-area BBQ recommendations for this weekend.

I fear I have developed a reputation on this blog as a Dallas hater. This is not true. Not really.

I have nothing against the city generally. Objectively, however, the professional football team associated with it is putrid. The Dallas Cowboys have not won in their last four games at home, where they have given up 167 points during that span. However, to be fair, injuries and Dak Prescott have ravaged the team.

But do I pity them? No, I loathe them.

Yet, I will be there on Sunday at AT&T Stadium. Why? To cheer and laugh with thousands of other Philadelphia Eagles fans as my team extends that Cowboys’ futility streak and further widens the gulf between the Cowboys and the distant memories of Super Bowls that local parents and Yankees fans still cling to and share with their skeptical children.

But I digress because I do not post today primarily to bash the Dallas Cowboys. (Maybe, just to get in a few cheap shots.) Rather, the purpose of this post is to ask for your help. You see, I have two full days in Dallas this weekend. Whether it’s spent riding roller coasters with my sons at Six Flags on Saturday or pre-gaming on Sunday, whatever we do will be on a full stomach—full of local BBQ, to be precise.

But there are so many options and so little time.

Email me where to go for the best BBQ in the Arlington/DFW area, and tell me what to order. (Other than brisket, which I will order everywhere.)

Thanks, and GO BIRDS!
